AETERNIT IMPERI Laureate and draped bust of Septimius Severus, on the left, facing laureate and draped bust of Caracalla, on the right, both seen from behind. BMC -, cf. 158 (busts on reverse also cuirassed). Cohen -, cf. 2 (busts on reverse also cuirassed). RIC -, cf. 32b (busts on reverse also cuirassed). An extremely rare variety. Minor flan fault on the obverse, otherwise, good very fine.
